Fiber Optic Technician Certification

Fiber Broadband Association OpTIC Path™; Optical Telecom Installer Certification training is designed to equip future fiber optic technicians with the skills and knowledge needed to plan, design, install, and maintain fiber-optic networks, including "Fiber to the Home" (FTTH) and "Fiber to the Building" (FTTB) systems.  The course covers topics such as fiber-optic cabling, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting. Featuring small class sizes and hands-on instruction the program prepares you for positions in the high-demand fiber optics field.

At successful completion of the course and exam,
graduates of the program receive the Fiber Broadband Association OpTIC Path™ 3-year certification, the knowledge and skills required for a professional career with organizations such as telecommunications service providers, internet service providers, and contractors.
